Converse is continuing their military inspired vision. Previously seen with the UNDFTD Poorman’s Weapon.

The part that sets it off for me is the nylon upper, with the orange lining. I like how they continued the same aesthetic from the Poorman’s Weapon, (that remains to be my summertime shoe), and applying it to a Chuck Taylor Hi. I prefer the “military green jointz”, but they will also drop a black nylon aswell.

Kim Jones and DUNHILL’s Spring/2011 menswear collection plans to revitalize the “collar-and-tie” of the English gentlemen. The key piece of the collection was the single-button double-breasted, high-closing jacket that caught the peoples attention. Focusing more on the tailoring this season, the catwalk didn’t do any justice to enjoy the detailing of this collection.

This florescent SK8-HI is assembled with a teal nubuck upper, and a red canvas side-panel complemented with white Inca-flower embroidery. A white vulcanized sole, teal-green cord laces, and metal eyelets that gives the shoe a sense of quality.

TITS are known for their work with the ladies, but this one has goes down as one of my favorites.

Coming from the struggles of Africa. This aspiring company OLIBERTE has recreated the “classic” desert boot we all love to rock. What really caught my attention was…not only are they from Africa, but all of their products are eco-friendly. The ADIBO desert boot is made from Ethiopian premium leather and soft goat leather that lines the inside. Placed in the price-point of $135 dollars, you can’t beat the price for the quality of the shoe. I”m going to make sure I cop a pair.

As an adidas Originals retrofied connoisseur, I always try to make an adidas post if Benny doesn’t do it. And with these JS Wings 2.0 based off the old school basketball sneaker the Conductor; it’s only right to display pure inspiration mixed with class and clas(sick). These joints release August 10th 2010 throughout adidas Originals retail stores. Price? Probably the same as the other wings.

This is well executed cut and sew piece by Comme de Garcons homme PLUS. Constucted from a Navy Blue polka-dot wool-cotton blend fabric. Pieced together with an off-set Red/Grey plaid pattern for the pocket, giving it a very eye catching appeal.

Images like dreams. These are images from one of my personal favourite photographers Zhang Jingna. Better known across the internet as Zemotion she is one the best photographers in the current time IMO. All of her images have this dream like feel to them, a frame of pure tranquility and calmness. Orginally from China, Jingna say she spent a lot of time in Japan as a child and became very fascinated by anime of all things. The 411: Rapper/producer Marion Write is an independent artist who most certainly knows how to make his rounds. Marion has been featured on numerous music blogs/Websites including RubyHornet.com and DJBooth.net. Most recently, Marion dropped his mixtape “Write History”.

Signature Style: “I’m best fitted with cut and sew tops and denims, I love jackets too. In some cases I’ll even wear light outerwear joints in the summer time.”

His Take On Fashion: “Personal identification through apparel and sneakers. Avant Garde styles are regarded as high fashion, but a lot of street wear can define personality and the ‘love’ for staying fresh as well!”

What’s In: “Accessorizing, I think the male species needs to get more creative with their watch styles and ‘chains,’ wrist joints etc. Speaking of chains Good Wood NYC will make an impact in the consumer fashion world, Custom New Era fitteds (as always). I think vintage low top sneakers will make an ultra appearance this summer and I don’t mean released retro joints, more like going out to cop some Adidas Originals gazelles, campus, Stan Smiths etc. The boat shoe or strap shoe, and ‘nautical’ yacht look may be a stand out this summer as well.”

What’s Out: “Skinny Jeans (if they haven’t already been out). Extremely colorful graphic tee’s & mock sunglasses or frames with no lenses. Get em’ out of here.”

Summer’s Must Have Item: “For me, it’s my watch. I just started getting into wearing watches everyday, G-Shock (of course, still waiting on the Play Cloths edition to pop up in my possession), Adidas Originals, Meister, even Timex classic joints. Just a couple watch brands I look out for.
