For all the haters that keep hating. KANYE simply knows how to keep doing shit and taking it to higher dimensions. He’s now working with New York based filmmaker MARCO BRAMBILLA on a video that is set to release for the song “POWER”. The work is inspired by Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel, which depicts an empire on the verge of collapse from its own excess and corruption.
If you don’t already know GEORGE CONDO, he’s the one that has been crafting the art to Kanye West’ album (top). Mr. Condo, inspired by American caricature, European history portraits and Greek mythological figures with a dark but jocular expressions. He currently resides in New York, where he is investigating the art-genre of portraiture.
HE’s GONNA GO DOWN AS ONE OF MY FAVORITES.
DUDE GOTS STYLE WITH THE BRUSH
Ok So next week I’ll have an America artist. This week I’m bringing you goodies from China again, this time by an artist named LINVS. so LINVS makes most the props he uses in his photos. They’re always well done and perfect craftly. I wonder how much of those materials he goes thru in a year. I came across LINVS via his flickr when he was doing his Project 365. It is one of the most creative I’ve seen. The animal he makes always amaze me and most of the time they match the shirt he’s wearing. He style is vary playful and colourful. IT’s gotten him a lot of notice over the year also. He was recently the art director on a music video for a band by the name of Poubelle International and even did the design work for their cover. Check out more from LINVS via his flickr

So Today I’ll pulling a few of my own photos. The other day I hit up local photographer/skater ‘D-Mob’ and told him I wanted to take some photos of him with his board on fire. So we made it down to the skate park geared the board up, did a practice run and then BLAM!!! Board on fire. We had the whole park in an uproar trying to figure out what we were doing.
So a while back Nat Geo did a set of show where they followed animals growth, in the womb. To make these renders they used 3D ultrasounds, super tiny cameras and a few other techniques I can’r recall at the moment. They also did a similar series with human babies both of which proved to be groundbreaking segments showing what life looks like before it enters our world. Its still amazes me how much human, dolphin, and pig foetuses look alike in early development.
I can always admire a good landscape. Ellie Stone based in San Fran(guessing from the photos) has an amazing collection of photos in her flickr. She has some amazing landscape photos. A few of them make we want to go out and some still life and landscape photos. She’s got a few in there I’d also love to hang on the walls of my room. Check out her Flickr to see more of her work.
As the times change so do the art. There is a website I came across a while back called Graffuturism, it implies that its contents are if you will “the future of graffiti.” While this is a bold statement I almost agree with it. Its pushing it drastically more in the realm of “acceptable” art while still maintaining that grimyness and street factor its had since it debuted as one of the pillars of Hip Hop. But art being art is always full of variable impressions. While there are some who see the beauty in graffiti there are those who only see it trash regardless if its on a wall or canvas. Check out the site if you get a chance it’s full of amazing work from all over the world.
Spike Jonze has quickly become one of my favourite directors after seeing Lakai’s Fully Flared. Spike helped direct what to this day I think is still one of the most epic skate videos. The intro looks like extra footage from a Michael Bay movie(the guy who directed Transformers.) But “I’m Home” the latest short from Spike Jonze(as far as I know) looks pretty damn good. You can see the movie for FREE on its official website. You just have to be 21 to view it(Because it’s sponsored by Absolut Vodka.)
So this student from France made a LEGIT hover board. While you may not be able to ride on it, its still pretty cool to see this concept come to life. I’d buy one of these bad boys if it was on shelves.
So at first glance I thought this were pencil drawings super cleaned up or maybe even done in photoshop. They’re not. They’re over exposed black and white photos. I don’t even remember how I can across this photos but they are amazing. I’ve been inspired by them to do something in a similar fashion. The photos were taken by a photographer named Kid of Hobogestapo
This is the art of Kumi Yamashita. These are all REAL images and art pieces. The first image is made purely by the shadow cast by the numbers. The second is a rubbing done with a credit card. The final image is done using a SINGLE UNCUT black thread looped around nails in a board. Which by the way is a Young Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. or better know as Muhammad Ali.
<p>Storm in Paradise by Stefan HeinrichThis a photo of the Solomon Islands. I figure if get to show you a dope photo of the day might as well make it somewhere outside U.S. boarders.

men & women are both one and the same
women just live from the heart
while men are guided by their brains.
see; a woman is brought up with love in her nature
and she’ll make sure to have it before her last breath escapes her.
men are plain and simple, most are nonchalant
just respect them and be loyal; thats all they really want.
if women were more like men
and men were more like women
this world would be a better place
we’d all feel like we’re winnin.
but reality has shown us…
SH*T WILL NEVER BE THAT EASY
you men want to complain about the gold diggin groupies
but flash all your cash & take pictures wearin Gucci
talkin bout your benz’s & suicide doors
got girls ridin shotgun in some sh*t that aint yours.
if you would have took the time to look some women in their eyes
you would have seen from the beginnin all they saw were dollar signs.
so really who’s to blame; is it YOU or these chicks
wana be known for what u buy; why you think you got picked?
ladies, ladies, ladies dont even get me started
runnin round screamin that every nigga is cold-hearted
maybe they treat you the way that you let them
you complain hes disrespectful but turn around & profess him?
as a woman i know so im just speakin the truth
we always givin that same excuse, “i just need MORE proof!”
you should know when to leave; you love him but that dont mean he’ll change
got you callin other women you dont know out their name
well they know just as much as you and to them you dont exist
think about that next time; she might be an innocent b*tch.
instead of standin behind each other; we choose to break each other down
we define & demean - we talk sh*t & we clown
“that b*tch is broke” or “that nigga is a bum”
even if we aint got money the person we f**kin gotta have some.
quick to call somebody out on somethin they dont have
but if we get blasted we take it personal and get mad.
no one said life would be fair but we dont make it any better
rather worry about the next man and not have our OWN sh*t together
maybe yall wouldnt run into groupies if you pursued real women
and maybe yall wouldnt meet dogs if you paid more attention
when you find someone you gotta learn to set the bar
either we will be loved or we’ll just be gettin f**ked
sadly, some of us never know which one we are.
I want to introduce yall to Jenai. The homie, if you not familiar with her yet, she’s a beast when it comes to poetry.
